Spaceships yet again
Hey, might be doing a bit of interior book art for some buddies of mine so here's some spaceship concepts that I sketched up. Obviously my photoshop colouring skills are not up to task yet. Was looking for a tutorial on dA but couldn't find anything so I just winged it and didn't spend too much time on 'em.

Top one reminds me of a gun but they are both pretty cool.
The thing i'm doing the art on is like the arcade machines dude ( just a long box with the buttons )anyway i don't think my buddy is going to use my stuff though since he wants something real "pro" on his stick so he's asking another friend to copy some art from a book of mine to use instead.

Well, trying to base the designs on someone elses so in doing so, trying to keep a bit of the basic thing in there. From the profile it may look a bit like a gun, but mostly because of the ventral fin. It's fairly narrow so in a perspective view it probably wouldn't come across that way. Though I guess that one curvey bit I put on there could be mistaken as a trigger.
Now THAT is what I like to see! :D

Yeah well he wanted it to look "nice" and i think he's a bit lazy to go ahead and ask me and two other artists ( one being Mac )to do a huge 3 way art piece so he's taking the easy route.
His other friend will probably based some work off an image or two from the book i lent them and that will be the final since that guy's art is much more comic-ish then mine or Mac's
I'm just a bit ticked that he asks then is too lazy to go with it without even trying, i mean i don't mind doing the work and sketches but why bother at this rate?
I should have mentioned that the Asian agent besides knowing Kung fu is also a race car driver, a master chef and a former police officer...oh wait Jackie Chan did all that already :P
maybe i should have the chick be british and also include 5 other girls all madly in love with the asian guy ( i.e operation condor, and most jackie chan films )
but i still like watching all that cheesy stuff because it's fun

i'm not looking for a "perfect" fit for her outfit really, just a general idea
to be honest i'm too lazy to go back and really change it since i'd rather just finish it overall

it's not meant to be Star Trek greg. But yes I am a star trek fan. The new movie was freaking awesome. Just watched it for the fourth time.
